Geraint Davies has trained as an audiologist at the Royal National Throat, Nose, and Ear Hospital in London, where he met his wife, Jayne. They qualified in 1976 and married the following year.
While Jayne continued her NHS career, Geraint initially pursued his passion for music, touring worldwide with the Welsh folk band Ar Log. However, his commitment to improving people’s hearing brought him back to audiology, working at the David Rees Hearing Centre in Cheltenham before joining Siemens Hearing in 1983.
Determined to provide truly personal hearing care, he founded Geraint Davies Hearing/Cymorth I’r Clyw in 1990. After years of running clinics, he opened the Hearing Centre in Llanrwst, the hometown of his father, the renowned writer and broadcaster T. Glynne Davies.
The family legacy in audiology continues, with Ffion qualifying as a Hearing Aid Audiologist in 2005 and Osian joining in 2015. Together, they offer decades of expertise, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care.
As an independent, family-run clinic, we take pride in providing advanced hearing solutions, working closely with leading ENT consultant Mr. Zak Hammad FRCS. From hearing assessments to cutting-edge hearing aids, we are dedicated to restoring clarity, confidence, and connection to those with hearing loss.
